Meet our friendly team

Dr Kin Lam 林建衡

MBBS, BSc(Advanced), FRACGP, DipChildHealth, ClinDipPallMed

Kin is a male general practitioner who graduated from University of Sydney in 2014 and completed his hospital training at Westmead Adult and Westmead Children’s hospitals. He has worked as a GP across greater Sydney, including Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains. He enjoys taking the time with patients to meet their various health needs and providing long-term care. Kin has special interest in children’s health, palliative care, and minor skin procedures. He has completed a Diploma of Child Health and also a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine. Kin is able to consult in English and Cantonese.

In his spare time, he enjoys dabbling in making coffee, playing music, various sports and hiking.

Dr Valerie Tung 董逸如

MBBS, FRACGP, DipChildHealth
 
Valerie graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2012 before completing her hospital training at Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai and Mona Vale Hospitals.
 
Having trained as a General Practitioner in both metropolitan Sydney and the NSW Central Coast, Valerie sees patients from all walks of life. As a GP, she’s particularly passionate about women’s and children’s health and providing quality, holistic healthcare to both the individual patient and their family. Valerie is able to consult in both English and Cantonese 廣東話.
 
Outside the surgery, she enjoys the outdoors – particularly horse riding! But she’ll be just as happy sitting down with a cup of tea and a good book.

Dr Ernest Paw 鮑自強

MBBS(UNSW), BSc(Med), FRACGP, DipChildHealth

Ernest was born in China but came over to Australia to study Medicine at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2003. He has had a wide range of experiences including frequent visits to remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory and has spent a number of years working in rural New South Wales.

Ernest enjoys working as a GP, loves learning and is always keen to stay up to date with the latest medical information and seminars. In addition to English, he is fluent in both Mandarin 普通話 and Cantonese 廣東話. He is an active member of his church- St Pauls Carlingford, and has 3 primary school aged children.

Dr Peter Chong

MBBS(UNSW), BSc(Med), FRACGP

Peter graduated with his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2005. He is a strong advocate for continuity of care and effective doctor-patient communication skills. He enjoys working as a GP because he loves people, loves the challenge of relating to all personality types, and loves seeing his patients leave the room satisfied and with a smile.

Outside his medical work life Peter gets his creative flare out of playing music and his physical energy out of his 3 kids.  He has previously worked for his local church Pennant Hills Baptist Church and has been the director of a number of Christian Organisations. 

In addition to English, Peter knows how to count to 3 in Mandarin.

Dr Karen Lee

MBBS, BSc(Med), FRACGP, DipChildHealth

Karen graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 and completed her hospital training at Nepean and Hawkesbury Hospital. During her general practice training, she has worked in the Blue Mountains and western Sydney areas and completed a Diploma of Child Health. She is able to consult in English and Cantonese.

In her spare time, Karen likes to go hiking, baking and gardening.

Dr Kim Vu

MBBS(UNSW), BSc(Med)

Kim graduated with his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2009.  He went on to pursue general Physicians training in St George and Sutherland Hospitals with a focus on Aged Care/Geriatrics.  Now working in General Practice, he has an interest in general medicine, holistic care and helping the disadvantaged; wanting to engage with people to improve not only their physical but also their whole wellbeing.

Outside of work Kim loves spending time with his wife and son, is an active member of his church (Wesley International Congregation), and loves spending time outdoors and trying new foods.

Ms Sophia Gao

Sophia is our practice nurse. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and will perform spirometry, ECG, wound dressings, immunisations, health assessments, blood pressure and diabetes checks.
